When Amanda heard about Bear, an abandoned dog wandering alone in the mountains of Evans Creek, she knew she had to help.

An hour later, he returned. This time, instead of walking away, he simply sat beside her.

A Heartwarming Rescue
As time passed, Bear grew more comfortable. Eventually, he mustered the courage to follow Amanda and Dylan to their car. Together, they drove him to the vet, where he finally received the care he so desperately needed.
Animal welfare organization Lost & Found Pets in Washington tried to locate Bear’s original owner but had no luck.
Fortunately, a loving family soon stepped forward, eager to adopt him. Thanks to Amanda and Dylan’s persistence and compassion, Bear now has a safe and happy home.
