One lady on YouTube got three different eggs, each of these eggs all came from different places. The first carton is straight from the farmer. The second box is from the market from pure grain-fed free-range chickens, and the third is a carton of eggs you’d find at a supermarket.
She takes an egg from the first box, from the farmer. She cracks it into a frying pan.
She then cracks an egg from the second box, which was from the grain-fed free-range chickens.
And last she chooses an egg from the supermarket carton.
Do you notice the color of the yolks? The egg that was straight from the farmer is a rich orange, while the other two eggs hardly look any different, whether grain-fed, free-range, or just any chicken, with the yolk being a dull yellow.
Generally you should try to get eggs with a yolk that has a dark and vibrant orange color. This indicates the healthier chicken, as these yolks are typically produced by pasture-raised hens whose diets consist of fresh grass, worms, and grasshoppers.
