Just because I give advice.

Just because I give advice doesn’t mean I’m smarter than you.
It just means I’ve done more stupid stuff than you.

I know it is hard to believe. But during my life time I have made a few silly mistakes. That doesn’t mean I regret anything.As I am all about learning from mistakes. But when I give you advice believe me I am doing it for your own good. I am not gloating or trying to be smart. I know sometimes advice comes across the wrong way. But actually it’s not because I think I am smarter than you. It is because I’ve probably been there and done that and know the outcome. I have done a heck of a lot of stupid stuff. So to it as a compliment that you haven’t been as dumb as me. Because actually my knowledge, although is powerful. It makes you wonder, wow how the heck do they know that. That’s down to the fact I’ve either tried it or said it and had the consequences. So try and welcome all advice as coming from a place of good will. Not to be harsh or nasty. It’s not a way to say you’re being dumb, it’s that I’ve been dumb and don’t want you following in my footsteps. But I guess we all have to make our own mistakes. And then we can all spread the knowledge that we have.
