I’ve never been so thankful to be low maintenance. No nails, no lashes, no crazy hair upkeep, no tanning, no botox. I’ll just be the same hot mess coming out of all this as I was going in.
I don’t care if I’m a hot mess anyway. But if I’ve been thankful of anything during this period, it’s that I don’t do maintenance. That’s not to say I don’t need it. Or that people shouldn’t, each to their own. But I know for sure I’m going to be coming out of this the same way I went in. I will not be one of these people running to the salon to get my eyebrows fixed because they are 100% natural and just the way god intended. I might have a few more grey hairs but after the stress who won’t? I’m not worried that the salons are not open because they are not my priority. I didn’t know this was a blessing until this who situation came about. Now who is laughing, I’ll probably look better coming out than half these people who usually have the full works.
