The English language is extremely complex. It doesn’t matter if you are an english native speaker, we are all guilty of the odd slip up.
There are fronted adverbials, conjunctions and connectives, and then there are Homophones. Homophones are similar-sounding words with different meanings, they are quite common in the English language. So this goes as a way of explaining why many people mispronounce words, getting the two mixed up. Or completely wrong altogether! These mistakes sometimes make for hilarious consequences.
The subreddit Bone Apple Tea, which sounds like ‘bon appetit’, is dedicated to hilarious malapropisms shared by other Redittors. Some of these are utterly brilliant!
