Reality is very few movies nowadays are filmed solely on location, a lot more than you ever realise is all thanks to the computer whizz’s and an amazing thing called CGI.

1.Here you can see just how they got the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland to look so ginormous!

2.By the looks of things the filming of Inception involved a lot of mechanical gadgets to get the desired look

3.Although you know a lot of the scenes are green screen (or blue in this case) it is interesting to see the actor mid scene surrounded by nothing compared to what you see in the finished project Oz the Great and Powerful

4.This set appears to be on location in The Chronicles of Narnia with a little help from visual effects for the background

5.How awkward would it be to play the role and be dressed in a green suit all day long. The end result in Guardians of the Galaxy is brilliant.
