Heart-warming Tales That Show Kindness Is a Precious Treasure
Story 1:
I had an argument with my boyfriend and he made me leave our home. I cried at work. My boss asked me to stay with him and told me he had a wife. He explained everything to her but she looked upset. They started complaining to each other. She came over, looked me in the eyes and said “I know what you need to do.” “Get into the car.”
We drove back home while I shared about my three-year relationship with my partner. When we got there, she stepped out of the car with me. We knocked on the door and my boyfriend answered.
She threatened to call the police because he forced me out of our house which I partly owned! She warned him that cops would know he had taken from me before too many times! She was so strong that he got scared and decided to leave until we could sort things out.
I moved back in & two months later sold the house! Of course I never talked to him again but I cherish that day because she taught me how to stand up for myself & not let anyone take away my rights.
Story 2:
My husband & I were low on groceries with just $9 so we went shopping for bread eggs milk etc.. While waiting in line behind us was a woman who only had one item so we let her go ahead! Because we did this she paid for our stuff plus gave us a $50 Walmart gift card!
Now whenever I’m at any grocery store or fast-food place & see someone struggling to pay for something, I jump in help cover their costs or pay for what’s behind mine! I’ll always remember how she helped when it wasn’t necessary!
Story 3:
My neighbours wanted to borrow my truck but I told them no since its tires were bad.
The next day Mr Neighbour called saying he’d get new tires for his Suburban & offered his old ones! He told me just show up at this tire shop where they would put them on.
When i arrived they put brand-new Goodyear tires on instead!
I asked what happened about those old tires? The shop owner said it was all part of getting people into their shop; Mr Neighbour bought new ones instead!
Story 4:
When I was around eight years old I travelled to London and our family visited an arcade bigger than I’d never seen before; it was exciting playing games (even if pricey). I finally went to swap the tokens for prizes but didn’t have enough for the good stuff; a group adults offered a huge amount of tickets allowing me to get a yo-yo which everyone loved school then!
Story 5:
At seventeen my mother was admitted to hospital following serious surgery, issues arose and I ended curled ball hallway crying hard until janitor sat beside me calming me down.. Later a father & daughter passed by, the little girl returned and handed me a lollipop—it’s been years yet that memory still brings tears, showing small acts compassion matter greatly.
