3. Call ahead before visiting. Always call first rather than showing up uninvited. Everyone appreciates a heads up even if its a short
4. There’s no such thing as “fashionably late.” If you’ve been invited and given a time, turn up on time. Being late is just rude and totally unnecessary!
5. Be the type of guest your host will love.t is always in good taste to bring a gift. Flowers, candy, or even a cake
6. It’s rude to be on your phone. While a lot of us live on social media it is important to make sure to be social in the outside world too. If you are in the company of others, don’t constantly be on your phone.
7. Always learn people’s names. If you are newly introduced to someone make sure to ask and keep a mental note of their name. This will show you are interested in them and makes for good etiquette.
8. When your companion says Hello,to someone, you should great them too, even if you’ve never seen them before
9. Don’t ever glare at people,laugh loudly or talk loudly.
10. Don’t forget to show appreciation of the help that someone gave you, thanks means a lot.
11. Greet everyone in a room. It would be extremely rude to only acknowledge certain people so even if you dont know every person in the group/room you should still greet them.
12. Always clean your shoes before entering someone’s house. Or even better, take them off especially if they have carpeted floors.
